Description

On HANA Studio you are facing alert messages with the text below:

NULL value in index of array OBJECT_LOCKS_ACQUIRED_TIME
There is a harmless statisticsserver bug on HANA that will trigger this alert message to be issued.

•This alert indicates that the statistics server was not able to finish the operations in time to create a snapshot.
•You should notice no adverse effect as a result of this message.
•Typically this alert is thrown when the database is under heavy load, e.g. a data loading process or several delta merges starting at the same time.

Steps To Resolve
You have two options:

1) Completely ignore the alert messages as they are harmless to your database;

2) Run this query

alter system alter configuration (‘statisticsserver.ini’,’SYSTEM’) set (‘statisticsserver_general’,’editing’)=’yes’ with reconfigure;

alter system alter configuration (‘statisticsserver.ini’,’SYSTEM’) set (‘statisticsserver_view_STAT_OBJECT_LOCKS’,’query’)=’select ifnull(HOST,””) || ”:” || ifnull(PORT,0) || ”:” || ifnull(OBJECT_TYPE,””) || ”:” || ifnull(SCHEMA_NAME,””) || ”:” || ifnull(OBJECT_NAME,””) INDEX_COL, HOST, PORT, LOCK_OWNER_TRANSACTION_ID, LOCK_OWNER_UPDATE_TRANSACTION_ID, ACQUIRED_TIME, SCHEMA_NAME, OBJECT_NAME, OBJECT_TYPE, LOCK_MODE from SYS.M_OBJECT_LOCKS’;

alter system alter configuration (‘statisticsserver.ini’,’SYSTEM’) unset (‘statisticsserver_general’,’editing’) with reconfigure;
